New health care jobs for companionship clients and personal care clients in and around Canterbury, Dover, Deal and Sandwich, Whitstable, Thanet and Herne Bay.


You have choice of hours, you are introduced to our clients in person and your visits are never rushed. You are paid above the Real Living Wage and you are cherished by our organisation.

We are also adding an admin role to support our team. A hybrid role working from your home and visiting our clients. The Service Co-ordinator has become a vital member of our team

Service Coordinator

Seniors Helping Seniors is a compassionate and heart-centred company dedicated to providing exceptional domiciliary care to the elderly in and around Canterbury, Kent. We are currently seeking an amazing individual to join our team as a Service Coordinator. This role is crucial in meeting the increasing demand for our unique brand of care.

About the hybrid admin role:

As a part-time Service Coordinator, you will work remotely from home, responsible for coordinating the services and schedules of our teams while supporting our dedicated carers in their work. Your primary focus will be on creating positive outcomes for our elderly clients and their families.

Working closely with our experienced Registered Manager, you will support our Companion Care division, which offers a wide range of non-clinical services. At Seniors Helping Seniors, we pride ourselves on being responsive to both our clients and carers, making the Service Coordinator role vital to our success.

We serve the areas of Canterbury, Thanet, Dover, Deal, and Sandwich, providing flexible care options through our team of experienced professionals. Our office-based coordination team, working from their own homes, offers excellent support to our carers. Some travel may be required to assist clients and carers.

Flexibility is key in responding to client demand, and while the ideal “office hours” are from 08:00 to 13:00, you may need to be available for on-call weekend work.

Responsibilities:

In this fast-paced environment, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Utilising your exceptional interpersonal skills to be an amazing team member who genuinely cares about our mission and colleagues.
  • Using our software to organise schedules and match carers with clients based on their needs and skills.
  • Updating clients and carers on schedules and services via phone communication.
  • Responding accurately to changes and requests, ensuring carers’ well-being andaddressing their concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Playing an essential role in our organisation by multitasking with a smile and being adependable team member.This role is incredibly rewarding as it involves supporting the health, well-being, and happiness of others.Requirements:Our ideal candidate for the Service Coordinator role will embody love, care, compassion, and generosity. You should possess the following qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, carers, and colleagues.

  • Strong IT skills to efficiently manage data points and perform accurate data entry.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A full driving license and access to a car.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to find solutions and persuade others.
  • Willingness to assist clients in person during scheduling crises.
  • A team player who thrives in a flat organisational structure.
  • Preferred: Healthcare knowledge, local knowledge, and service coordinationexperience. Familiarity with our company’s mission and social impact is advantageous.We are a rapidly growing company that challenges the traditional norms of the care industry.
